Andrew Jerome Williams received his PhD in English from the University of Iowa in August 2015.  His dissertation was titled Tolerable Faiths: Religious Toleration, Secularism, and the Eighteenth-Century British Novel.  He is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor in the English department at the University of Iowa, where he teaches general education literature and eighteenth-century British literature courses.
